Terms of Sale
Please read our terms of sale before making a purchase. Thank you.
All payments must be made in full before your animal is marked sold or is shipped to you. Forms of payment accepted include: all major credit cards, cashiers checks, personal Checks, money orders, and Paypal. Once payment is received, no refunds will be issued. This includes credit cards. Once a transaction is complete all sales are final. If a costumer decides they no longer want to make a purchase with us subsequent to payment, the balance of that costumer’s current payment will be considered credit toward a future purchase with Swikmo’s Snakes. We appreciate your understanding regarding this provision. We will not ship an animal until payment is received. If you are paying with a personal check we will ship as soon as that check clears.
We use overnight and same day air services. We make certain special care is taken during packaging to ensure all of our animals are transported to you unharmed. Most often we use Fedex and UPS parcel services. Same day Delta Cargo may be used for animals priced over $800.00 unless otherwise arranged. We are in no way responsible for a faulty or incorrect shipping address. It is very important that your shipping information is correct! Please make sure all fields are filled in accurately upon completion of our online order form when making a purchase. You must be present to sign for and receive your package. If you fail to be at the shipping address which you have provided us to receive and sign for your animal, we will not be held liable. You are entirely responsible for making sure somebody is present to care for your animal upon arrival.
All of Swikmo’s Snakes animals are guaranteed to be alive and in excellent health upon arrival. Animals offered for sale are guaranteed to have taken at least three meals and to be well established specimens. If you notice any health issues while inspecting your newly acquired reptile or if an animal has expired during transit, you must notify us within 24 hours from the time you receive your package. If you are for any reason unhappy with your animal and wish to return it, you the customer are responsible for the cost of the return freight. We will not be held responsible for returned animal shipping costs. No cash refunds will be issued for returned reptiles. If after quarantine and close observation we have decided the animal has been returned in adequate health and parasite free, we will then credit you the cost for that animal towards another purchase with Swikmo’s Snakes. Keep in mind it may take up to 30 days for us to accurately discern the health and overall condition of a returned reptile.
We accept deposits equal to 25% of the total purchase cost for animals priced at $200.00 and up. After we have received your deposit we will then put a hold on the animal in your name for no more than two weeks. If you decide not to purchase the animal or for some reason you are unable to make payment in full, we will not refund the cash value of your deposit. However, if you choose to purchase a different animal we will put the value of your deposit amount toward your new purchase with us.
