Although these beautiful snakes can be one of the most challenging to care for because of their shier size along with high activity levels even into adulthood, Reticulated pythons are one of the most rewarding and enjoyable species I have ever worked with. These animals seem to exhibit a high degree of intelligence and prove themselves worthy of their handler’s utmost caution and respect especially during feeding. One thing is for sure, these snakes love to eat and know when it is feeding time. If you are an experienced handler of large constrictors and have not yet had the privilege of owning a retic, you will not be disappointed with this species of python.
