Burmese Pythons
These snakes are another one of my absolute favorite constrictors to work with. The Burmese python is the first large constrictor I purchased as a young adult undoubtedly contributing to my unwavering fascination for constrictors to date. Burms typically have very gentle, docile temperaments if respected and cared for properly. They are a beautiful thick bodied, often slower moving, and less active constrictor compared to the sometimes more slender reticulated python. This sometimes makes them easier to manage, despite their massive size potential. If you are looking for a beautiful large species of snake that is easily tamable that comes in many different colors and morphs, you can never go wrong with a Burmese Python.
