Burmese Pythons
These snakes are another one of my absolute favorite constrictors to work with. After all, the Burmese python is the first species of large snake that I purchased as a young adult – contributing to my unwavering fascination for constrictors as a whole. Burms commonly have wonderfully docile temperaments if kept properly. They are also a beautiful, often slower moving, less active constrictor as adults than reticulated pythons. I’ve found this sometimes makes them easier to manage despite their massive size potential. If you are looking to work with a beautiful large species of snake that is easily tamable, then you can never go wrong with a good Burmese.
